I developed Advanced Visualization, Notre Dame’s first advanced design drawing course, during my second year of grad school. The class introduces students to a range of software through a series of exercises including ideation pages, storyboards, and photorealistic renderings.
Design Research Practices
Students are introduced to in-depth design research methods through a semester-long deep dive project. In 2019, we partnered with Notre Dame Student Affairs to focus on the Inclusive Campus Student Survey, and in 2020 we partnered with Radio Flyer to investigate the future of play.
