art 1050: design drawing
Art 1050 is the first product design drawing course in a three-class sequence. Students learn the fundamentals of perspective and gain competency in using line quality and line weight.

Senior-level students have the opportunity to work with corporate partner Eaton in order to develop solutions for real-world challenges. Fall 2021 started with a sprint project in which students designed packaging for any thing they chose. Next, they designed packaging for an e-locker differential, and finally, a transmission rebuild kit.
Senior Thesis
Senior-level students are supported in the full development of a self-directed semester-long project of their choosing. The thesis is meant to demonstrate skills gained during four years in program, with a particular emphasis on trans-disciplinary learning.
